1952 - 2020

For The Flower Series I collect 
vintage dresses and objects to 
embed in my paintings. I decided 
at one point that it would be fun 
to photograph myself in these 
outfits/objects before putting them 
on the canvas and thus The Self 
Portrait Series evolved from that. 
Then consequently, the feeling 
of being a "Cut Out" came out of 
this process so that I created the 
Self Portrait Cut Out Series.
